As the first quarter of 2024 draws to a close, we've taken a look at the top iOS personal finance apps in the United States, with data sourced from Sensor Tower. Here’s how the leading budgeting and planning applications have fared.

Rocket Money - Bills & Budgets has seen a steady start in the quarter with a strong opening in downloads at 435K during the first week, but experienced a general downward trend to 85K by the end of March. Weekly active users mirrored this pattern, starting at 1.48M and decreasing to 1.14M over the quarter. Revenue, however, fluctuated, peaking at 184K in early March before settling at 166K by the quarter's end.

Splitwise maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter, hovering around 27K to 31K weekly. Active users saw a modest rise from 95K in the first week to 104K in late February, then stabilized at around 94K. Revenue for Splitwise had minor fluctuations but showed an upward trend, ending the quarter with a weekly revenue of 39K.

For EveryDollar: Personal Budget, downloads started at 44K and saw a decrease to 23K by the end of March. Weekly active users showed resilience, growing from 282K to 261K over the quarter. Revenue trends were more volatile, with a high of 201K in mid-January, a dip to 123K in early February, and a recovery to 180K in late March.

Mint: Budget & Expense Manager saw a decline in downloads from 35K to 16K. Active users experienced a significant drop from 448K to 131K. Revenue remained negligible throughout the quarter, staying below 1K per week.

Cleo: Up to $250 Cash Advance, with no recorded revenue, had download numbers that ranged from 22K at the start of the quarter to 16K at its close. Weekly active users were relatively steady, beginning at 187K and ending the quarter at 184K.
